Course In Personal Inquiry (CIPI)

We begin our coaching program with the Course in Personal Inquiry. This is a daylong process where we get to know our clients, discover their motivations, and help them to begin designing the life they want to move forward with.

We prefer to conduct the CIPI while the clients are still students in wilderness therapy programs but can meet post program where they live or in Salt Lake City.

By meeting in the program we capture a snapshot of a mindset that we want to carry forward. The clients are older, more mature, more focused, less distracted and we like to connect at that level of clarity because it does diminish post program. If the client is departing the program we like to meet as soon as possible.

The CIPI covers the following life areas:

  • Family
  • Friends
  • Fun
  • Education
  • Work
  • Career
  • Physical Wellness
  • Spiritual Wellbeing
  • Other Personal Interest (Sports, Arts, etc.)

Following the initial CIPI session are 3 months of coaching sessions, usually done by phone:

Month One

  • 4 calls per week:
    • One 45 minute call
