Guy Dumas

Guy Dumas is a West Point graduate and former Army Ranger. Working in programs and schools since 1996, Guy has developed an effective, reliable, consistent approach to working with adolescents.

Guy is one of the most experienced and capable field instructors involved in wilderness therapy. He has facilitated over 7000 student field days in wilderness therapy programs and presents at national conferences. He understands the experience of a wilderness therapy student in a way that few others do.

As a classroom teacher, Guy designed and implemented an inquiry-based science curriculum that raised 8th and 9th grade science test scores 9% in one year. Guy understands how to take the information that students need to know and present it in the way that they learn best.
